New year’s eve was a time to party as we welcome the new year, 2018 in style. Different acts brought down different parts of the country down. This included Tanzanian Wasafi records artists Diamond Platinumz, Rayvanny and RichMavoko.
They performed in Nakuru, Mombasa and Nairobi respectively.
Kenyan artists were also not left behind as some of them also shared the stage with Rayvanny in Mombasa. Different acts like Akothe, King Kaka, Victoria Kimani, Avril and Khlaigraph Jones were electic. Fena Gitu, Susumila, Nyashinski, Kristoff, Timmy T-dat and Johnny Skani followed suit.
We can only rely on their Instagram pictures to see how it went down. A Kenyan tweep, Adam Maina agrees with that. Here is his tweet and a whole lot of conversation follows it.
So Diamond's team has already uploaded his 31st December performance on his YouTube channel and your Kenyan artist is yet to recover from hangover. It's time our artists built strong digital teams for their brands.

Do you agree that our Kenyan artists are lazy? Do they need help in their digital strategies?
