This is a design label that gets to the bottom of being Kenyan and in extension, African. They work along the lines of creating a uniquely Kenyan wear. Began officially in January 2015, by Curtis Pharees, it is rising steadily and establishing itself as a design powerhouse. It is part of a wider group, klothfiesta, who are more versatile and complete as a team. They are a quadruple of designer, event organizer, photographer and a marketer. Together as four, they are out to make waves, huge ones.
It rides on the slogan passion for fashion and passion definitely is what runs it. Curtis’ inspiration stemmed from his desire to revolutionise the fashion industry, inject a fresh onto it, a task he is set about to accomplish fully in the few coming years. He is inspired by his mom who he says has greatly supported him all through, understanding his need to abandon his campus studies for professional. That’s a leaf many parents should learn out her book; passion ultimately wins. There’s no need to force kids out there with a flair for design to venture into careers such as accounts and whatnots.
This week we will be showcasing klothline254’s clothes and telling you more about them. Meanwhile, you can find them in their shop located at Khoja Roundabout or on their various handles;
Check them out, they are worth your time.
