Yesterday was the International Women’s Day, where women all over the world were celebrated. The world over the years has ahd great women doing great things. We decided to compile ten of the greatest inventions of all time that were specifically done by women in Science and technology, a field that had been dominated by men. Their inventions revolutionized technology and brought massive changes and paved way to more advancements.

  1. Ada Lovelace– She was an English Mathematician and writer. Born in 1815, Ada was daughter to George Lord Byron (a poet) and Anne Isabella Milbanke. As a teenager, she became a good friend to mathematician Charles Babbage who had invented the first computer called the Analytical Engine.
