Lionel Messi’s four year contract with EA Sports has expired and there is no deal in place to replace the contract according to a close source to both parties. So, who is on FIFA 17 Cover?
The Argentine star has featured in FIFA 13 cover, FIFA 14 cover, FIFA 15 cover and FIFA 16 cover. The last time a player other than Messi was featured in FIFA cover was in FIFA 12 with England stars Wayne Rooney and Jack Wilshere on the cover.
This has emerged the question of who will be the face of EA Sports’s next football simulation game FIFA 17.
Leicester City front man Jamie Vardy is considered as one of the possibility for cover player of FIFA 17. The England international was sensational in the first half of the season in the Premier League which is why he is an underdog candidate for the next FIFA cover.
Aguero was featured in the Christmas edition of FIFA 16 alongside with Messi. This has made the fans curious that he might be the next face in FIFA 17 covers. The Manchester City star already has an existing contract with EA Sports for South American covers, they just have to extend the terms and Aguero will be in FIFA 17.
