The Coca-Cola Company, through their music flagship show, Coke Studio Africa, announce the return of a new season, set to air February 2019. Production of Coke Studio Africa 2019 will commence at Super Sport Studios in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi starting first week of November 2018.
The featured artists include:
Rayvanny is one of the top artists in East Africa. He has won the BET award and Coveted International Viewer’s Choice award. This will be his second time in the show. He has been paired with Nairobi and produced by Lizer.
He is a Nigerian producer and song writer. He is known for delivering the hit song, “Mama Africa” by Yemi Alade. This will be his second time on the show.
Iraju Hamisi Mjege aka Lizer classic is the music producer of Wasafi Records. He is credited for producing one of Wasafi’s greatest hits including: Kwa Ngwaru, Show me, Sikomi and many other.
Ugandan entertainer Alvin Kizz made a debut on music scene with his collabo with Hellen Lukoma. He will be collaborating Winky D and Messias.
Papa Jones is an influential Kenyan rapper touted to have a quick rap flow. He was crowned the Best African Rap Act at AFRIMMA Awards 2018. This will be his second time on the show.
He is an award winning dance-hall chanter and song writer. He is known for his unique twist on reggae and afro pop jams. He has been paired with Mozambican artiste Messias.
Mahlet Gebregoirgis is an Ethiopian singer known for her soulful voice. She is well known for her eccentric approach to creating her music.
Naiboi is one of the biggest Kenyan hit makers of this decade. The talented artist is also a music producer. He will be working with Rayvanny and most of his work will be produced by Lizer.
Messias is a fast rising Mozambican artist. He has won Best African Artist 2018 by African Entertainment Awards and Best African Artist 2018 by Afrika Awards.
