It has been 10 years since fast-rising musician Abdulkarim Mohammed popularly known as Czars disappeared from his home without a trace.
A budding young talent who was at the peak of his careerl;riding high on his hit record Amka Ukatike which dominated airwaves countrywide.
He scooped numerous awards including Chaguo La Teeniez and Fanta Pure Fresh Oxygen Talent Search.
Czars was set to sit for his KCSE examination at the Kilindini Secondary school before he vanished with speculation rife that he had ran away to avoid exams.
Efforts to find him since then have been fruitless with his father hoping that he’ll come back home someday.
“Wherever he is I want him to know that he is our son and we love him very much. My only hope and prayer is that he comes back home someday as his room is still empty without him.”
And despite rumors that the 27-year old is not alive, recent activity on his social media account might dispute these claims.
The ‘prodigal son’,through his Instagram page, hinted at dropping a new hit this month titled Tangu.
The song could be detailing all about his disappearance since 2006.
Whether this is Czars’ real account or just a parody will be confirmed by release of the track.
