The Insyder takes you through all the new details you need to know about the FIFA 19 which is set to be released soon. Gamers around the world are already going crazy about this game and you wouldn’t wanna miss out!
EA Sports has now confirmed that the game will be released globally on September 28, which is ideally in line with previous release dates just before the festive season. It will have three different editions just like the FIFA 18: The standard edition, Champions edition and Ultimate edition. This is unlike FIFA 18 which has Ronaldo and Icons edition. Gamers however have the option to get the game three days before by placing a pre-order for 25th.
FIFA 19 will be available on all the big platforms: Xbox One, Play Station 4, PC and Nintendo Switch. The ultimate edition will only be available on Xbox One, Play Station 4 and PC.
The New Leagues in FIFA 19
After nearly a decade of jockeying, EA Sports has finally secured the rights to the UEFA Champions League which will now be integrated into the game. From Ultimate Team to Journey, the Champions league will be the core of FIFA 19 and it’s an addition that has taken very many years and concepts to be added.
With the Champions League already added, the UEFA Europa League also comes in hand. While it’s not in the Champions league caliber, it has still featured some of the best teams in the world.
EA Sports has disclosed that the new game will have an ‘active touch’ feature, which will change the way players receive and strike the ball, as well as a ‘reimagined tactical system’ and 50/50 battles. It’s not confirmed yet but ‘dynamic weather’ could finally debut here. This will affect the momentum of the games with elements like rain and snow affecting player’s performance.
The popular Ultimate Team mode will continue with a few alterations. There will be live content updates from the Champions League and Europa League. It will also disclose pack odds so that players have a better idea of what they are getting.
FIFA 19 Icons
The Icons concept replaced the ‘Legends’ in the FIFA 2018 featuring icons like Diego Maradonna, Thierry Henry and Ronaldo. FIFA 19 will feature some new icons and EA Sports has revealed some of them: Former Italy and Juventus star, Roberto Baggio, 2006 Italy world cup winning captain, Fabio Cannavaro, Raul, Rivaldo, Steven Gerrard, Eusebio, Frank Lampard, Claude Makelele and Joan Cruyff.
This will be the final instalment in Alex Hunter’s odyssey. In FIFA 19, Alex Hunter’s story is called ‘The Journey: Champions,’ this is in line with the new Champions League features, which suggests that winning the Champions League is the aim.
FIFA 19 Soundtrack
It is not yet very clear what music will actually feature on the soundtrack for FIFA 19, but we have already been introduced to one song that will be part of the game. Award winning composer Hans Zimmer together with Vince Staples have partnered to come up with a new spin on the iconic Champions League Anthem.
