Those were the words of Sean “Diddy” Combs, when he did an interview with “Access Hollywood” hosts Billy Bush and Kit Hoover about his expanded line of business and the upcoming Revolt Music Conference, happening on October 16.
When the conversation turned to Jennifer Lopez’s new video with Iggy Azalea “Booty”, the business mogul said, “Oh my God. Oh my God. I am so lucky to have that great woman in my history. She is one of the greatest I’ve ever seen. Go girl. Go girl … We’re great as friends. I’m great as a fan right now.”
“I mean it’s great. It’s a work of art,” he said. “It’s something that will go down in history, for real, it will! So will her talent, her drive, her determination. She will never give up. She’s a great friend of mine, always will be my friend, and I mean that thing is just incredible.”
In response, to the compliment Lopez told Access Hollywood, “We spent three years of our lives together, you know, almost every single day. Seeing him involved in Revolt and all the things that he’s done as a businessman and still being so true to his music and his art trying to uplift his community in his own way, and it’s the same thing that I try to do and I feel like I learned a lot from him coming up, watching him.”
“I’ll always be grateful to him for that and I love that he can be so supportive of me so many years later and there’s still so much mutual respect, admiration and love there,” she said.
