Ugandan crooner Bebe Cool feels that Kenyan artistes are lazy and not working hard to put Kenya in the global map showbizzwise. Speaking exclusively to The Insyder Magazine, Bebe pointed out that local artistes do not work hard enough to sell themselves and their brands outside Kenya, singling out only pioneers as the ones who used to do it.

Bebe, who is in the country for Coke Studio, gave an example of Dela. “I didn’t know Dela before Coke Studio!” he said. “Apart from the old legendary, it’s Sauti Sol that has made sure that they make a name in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania… I can basically say Kenyan artistes are a bit lazy.”

After a meeting with one of the world’s hottest sensation right now (Jason Derulo), Tanzania’s Rayvanny has already done a collabo with him while Bebe Cool is also planning to do the same very soon. However, no Kenyan artiste took that extra mile. Maybe Bebe is right. Watch the video below;
