Mohammed Salah was crowned Africa’s best player of the year. The event held in Dakar was hosted by Confederation of African Football on Tuesday night.

Salah defeated his close competition who included Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane and Arsenal’s Pierre Aubameyang.

Mohammed Salah undeniable landed the title of Africa’s best due to the various achievements in his career path. He scored 44 goals for Liverpool in the past 2017-2018 season. Mo Salah also led his Egyptian national side to the world cup and scored twice during the campaign. The star player has 13 goals to his name in the 2018 2019 season.

He also led his Liverpool side to the UEFA champions league finals. Liverpool faced off against Real Madrid which saw Salah suffer an injury during the game.

Salah also managed to make it to the African XI team of the year. The team included some big names like: Eric Bailly Sadio Mane Pierre Aubameyang and Riyadh Mahrez just to name but few.

Mohammed Salah continues to enjoy not only African victory but world wide glory.
