This week’s lucky poet wishes to keep her name private. She’s a 17 year-old, first-time poet, who wants to know what y’all think of her skill. Her first poem is about a girl’s first kiss, see if you agree.
He kissed me last night and…
I couldn’t think, he filled my thoughts
I couldn’t breath, he took my breath
I couldn’t speak he muffled my words
I could feel nothing
Nothing but his lips on mine
Soft, sweet and tender
Time froze and it was just us
What seemed like eternity
Could it really have lasted just two minutes?
My heart was still racing
I couldn’t stop it
I couldn’t stop anything, I was doing what I’ve always feared to do..
Falling in love with him
