Samuel Odanga a humble and hardworking boy from Friends School Senende, started singing in class 3 at the age of 9. He started taking music seriously in form two after he joined the Kenya National Music Festivals.
Of course, being in high school and still wanting to pursue music is not easy. Time management is his biggest challenge while trying to find time to balance books and music.
His most memorable moment is when he got to work with Musyoka, a music producer, for the first time. This is his second time to participate in the Blaze Hub Competition. He could not hide his happiness when he explains how he has grown through the mentorship he has received. He says, “The mentorship has greatly improved my confidence and singing prowess.”
He encourages his peers out there who want to be like him to follow their music career no matter what they face in life.
We wish Samuel all the best in his competition to be the ultimate BLAZE Hub champion!
