Changez vs UppahAs we tip off the 2015 #BBallSeason, we bring you an update from the on-going Nairobi County district championships:

Defending Nairobi County, Metropolitan Zone and National champions Uppah are now the 2015 DDSSSA District (Dagoretti District Secondary Schools Sports Association) champions. Uppah defeated tore apart Changez 115 – 38 in probably one of the most one-sided DDSSSA Finals in a really long time. Changez vs Uppah 3Uppah, who were unchallenged at any time during the final led 39-02 end of Q1, 51-15 half time, and 90 – 25 at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. Isaiah Ater emerged MVP with 35 points. Ater, the 5’8” shooting guard told iSp (Insyder Sports) that he’s ready to take over from their 2014 National Championship winning MVP Kal Arum. And with Ater in the inspiring form he is now, it looks like Uppah is set to make it to the Nationals later on in April. Mang’u, Maseno, Laiser Hill you have all been warned. Changez vs Uppah 6 Mariam Kola PB MVPMariam Kola (50 points) led PB in obliterating Nembu Galz 80 – 10 in another one-sided match. The 5’6″ point guard contributed both in offense and defense, with 21 assists and 13 steals. Having secured their place in the Nairobi County Finals, PB will now have to wait who will join from the DDSSSA district as Quabbz faces-off with Nembu girls next week, Tuesday.
